Wanderlust

How wondrous the idea,
Of sailing the seas.
How splendorous the thought,
Of caring for naught.

Wide and far would I go,
Just following the flow.
High and low would I climb,
Chasing after the sublime.

A scenery here,
For my mind to wander.
A mystery there,
For my eyes to ponder.

To be captivated,
By countries' histories.
To be enraptured,
By peoples' cultures.

Making the world my oyster,
Is no simple task.
First,
I must understand it.
