Colour

Untruths colour this world,
Grey as it may seem.
People get called Black, White,
Yellow, Red and Brown.
People try to live black and white.
People survive on dull lives.
Their palettes run dry,
And the wit of it all,
It starts to cry.
Blue as the sky may seem,
Green as the grass grows,
No one appreciates the Red,
Of the lava.
No one likes to see,
A man on a rampage.
But calm and nerves,
These are human.
Eyes become blinded,
Ears become deaf,
To the dreams we aspire to,
To the lives we were meant to live.

We feel reality,
The hardest blow there is.
